What is LCQ Training?

The License Controller Qualification (LCQ) is the necessary qualification required to demonstrate that those applying for or renewing their Manager’s Certificate have received “Recent and Relevant Training” as set out in the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act of 2012.

You CAN NOT apply for your General Manager or Duty Manager's Certificate without this qualification.

Don’t get fined for serving liquor to a minor! Learn about your responsibilities through our exceptional LCQ course!

The LCQ training encompasses two Unit Standards:

  • 4646 – Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises
  • 16705 – Demonstrate knowledge of host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of licensed premises

Once the LCQ assessment is complete, you are able to apply for your General Managers Certificate. Omega’s friendly consultants can do this process on your behalf.

Undergo the complete LCQ training from us and soon you’ll be toasting to your business’s success
